Introduction

Pamela and Richard bought the Red Lion Inn in July 1985 and have extended the premises considerably to provide better facilities for their customers, which now include disabled persons entrances together with a disabled persons toilet and smoking and non smoking bars. please note that the whole restaurant is a non smoking area and that smoking at the bar is not permitted.

We are open for good food 7 days a week, lunchtime and evenings. The vast majority of the menu is prepared and made on the premises by our Head Chef. We have Specials of the Day boards in both bars which are regularly changed and feature amongst other things fresh fish which is delivered daily.

Eating out for Sunday lunch is now a popular way to spend the afternoon with your family and friends and we provide a traditional four course Sunday lunch with a choice of all six main courses for only £12.50 (Children £8.25).

Special events throughout the year include a Trafalgar Night Dinner, a Valentines Candlelight Dinner, a popular Burn's Night Dinner and during the month of December we have a very popular Christmas Fare suitable for all special occasions, family gatherings or office parties. The New Years Eve Dinner is always notable event at The Red Lion Inn. Always book early for Mothers Day and Fathers Day lunches. For all of these events and for that special occasion, Wedding, Birthday or Office Party, Business Meeting or Anniversary, Pamela and Richard are only too willing to discuss your requirements with you.
